
Garlic
Cheongsando, the chief producing district of garlic in Wando, produces around 450 tons every year from 35 ha of land by 150 farms that are harvested in May-June. Cheongsando garlic is grown in soil with good natural drainage, hence the pieces are large and contains high contents of beta carotin with anti-cancer effect and allicin with powerful disinfecting and antibiotic effect.
